Welcome to the most southern part of the Alps, which is Carinthia, the province famous for its mountains and lakes, in the heart of Alpen-Adria.
93 of the mountain tops are above 3000 meters sea level, mountain Großglockner ist 3798 meters and the highest mountain in Austria.
There are a total of 44 crystal clear lakes which are very inviting to
dive in and have a swim. There are numerous hiking and nordic walking
paths, lodges and nice landloards who offer food and beverages from
their own farms as well as a multitude of biking and mountain biking
trails and bridle paths, which are worth being explored.
